The Just Add Ink Design Team are kicking off the new year with a blog hop to showcase our first challenge of the year. We are asking you to Just Add Something New to your projects. My 'something new' had to be my new favourite products from the January - April 2025 Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up!. I absolutely love the Wildflower Birthday Suite Collection and have used products from the suite to make a Tri-Fold Accordion Card. It is the perfect card fold to show off both sides of the super pretty Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper. This is a tricky fold to capture in a pic - trust me - it is way prettier in real life!
It fits into a standard envelope and then stands up for display to show off all of the layers. The Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper pack contains 2 sheets of die cut images such as the gorgeous bouquet on the front of my card. It makes it so easy to add different elements to your projects. And don't you love the subtle shimmer from the Gold Open Weave Trim! I have more cards ready to make in this design sitting in pieces on my desk. I've used some of the cake and other die cuts and different DSP as bases to get different looks. Stay tuned to see how they turn out!
To make this card you will need:
- Card Base - 14.5 cm x 10.5 cm
- Designer Series Paper - 14 cm x 30.5 cm, scored along the long side at 10 cm, 18 cm, 25.5 cm and 29 cm.
This is quite a versatile design. It also works well with die cut shapes such as rectangles on the front and inside panels.
