Create a peekaboo card using six tiny squares of Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper (a free Sale-a-Bration item). Visit https://www.inkshimmerandshine.com for many more design ideas! 1) For today's card, begin by cutting an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock. Score at 4-1/4" and fold to create a card base. 2) Cut a 4-1/4" x 3" piece of Snowy White Velvet paper. 3) Next, cut a 4" x 2-3/4" piece of Night of Navy cardstock. 4) Cut six 1" squares of Penguin Playmates DSP. Choose three squares for the playmates peeking out. Assembly: 1) Adhere the Snowy White Velvet to the card base, centering it horizontally, but leaving a slightly larger border vertically at the bottom for the greeting. 2) Center the Night of Navy rectangle on the Snowy White Velvet piece and secure it with an adhesive such as multipurpose glue or Tear and Tape. 3) Lay out the square of Penguin Playmates paper on the Night of Navy cardstock in two rows, 3 squares each. Alternate the striped paper and the playmates squares you've chosen.. Try to make the borders around and between the pieces even. Then lift one square at a time and add multipurpose glue to the back and place it back in position. 4) On the lower left and right edge, stamp a few snowflakes from Penguin Place in Night of Navy ink. Also stamp the sentiment with the same ink on a 1/2" strip of Basic White or Shimmery White cardstock. Trim the sentiment to 2-3/4" and attach it in the center at the bottom of the card base. 5) For the last step, place three Holiday Rhinestone Jewels (Night of Navy) in the playmates squares. As an example, I used one for a button, one for the fox's nose and one above the penguin. But your squares will most likely be different, so be creative! #inkshimmerandshine #penguinplace #penguinplaymates #christmascards
